If you haven't checked out the Nick Cave exhibit yet you should. The Memphis Heavyweight Project looks great displayed in the museum. The first thing that caught my attention was the video installation on the wall. The mainly displayed some footage of the parade, people wearing their soundsuits, and some thoughts on the project from Nick Cave. One of my favorite soundsuits was the colossal metal robot. From looking at the video installation it looks like it was lightweight and easy to manuever despite its size. I also liked the tribal box soundsuits. They were adorned with a raffata type material and created from wood. I enjoy looking at objects suspended in the ceilings and I liked the idea of the childlike dummies in cloaks was a great installation. Overall the exhibit is great.
